Apple Arcade subscribers have some good news today, as there is a new iPhone controller from PowerA. The controller is called PowerA MOGA XP5-i Plus controller and it definitely looks great for the games that are in Apple Arcade library.
Currently the device is available for purchase in PowerA’s own store and Amazon, with a price tag of $79.99. There is no information about other regions and their respective prices yet.
The controller is specifically great due to its 3000 mAh built-in power bank. This means that while your controller is connected to your phone, it will keep charging your phone for longer gaming sessions, or at least it will keep your phone charged once you are done so you will not need to “calculate” the time for gaming.
Controller also allows you to customize your own button mapping as you like, so you will not need to worry about the default controls. This is actually a feature that goes great for any game or platform, not just Apple Arcade. Only drawback at this point is that the controller is custom-made for iOS devices, so Android users will have to wait for their own versions to enjoy.
