Struggling through its way up after the disastrous launch, Battlefield 2042 is still getting stronger with every passing update. Patch 2.1 for Battlefield 2042 is coming in today and brings a new vehicle and three additional Vault weapons alongside a reworked version of Renewal map.

Back in August, the game also received the reworked version of Kaleidoscope map. Now the players will have another fresh breath of new visuals, terrain improvements and tactical optimizations in another map. If these reworked maps are exciting for you, developers also confirmed that Orbital will be the next one on the line for a rework.

Speaking of vehicles, update 2.1 will be bringing the Polaris RZR as a new addition to the game. This one is a lightweight and fast two-person buggy for mobile tactics. If you are wondering what are the new Vault weapons, developers are presenting P90, GOL Sniper Magnum and M1911.

Update also brings some improvements to the game such as reduced mouse input latency, balancement for helicopters and the Nightbird. If you want to try Battlefield 2042 again after some time and you haven been waiting for a good opportunity, DICE teased some plans about a special event in October called “The Liquidators”. This event will bring new cosmetics, and feature infantry-only gameplay with some heavy CQC.
