Darkest Dungeon 2 is receiving an update called Obsession’s Gaze, and there are quite a lot of eyeballs watching us. There will be creatures with only one eyeball, then we are seeing the ones with several eyeballs, and finally we are coming across creatures made of hundreds of eyeballs.
The short trailer above shows us that we will be having some strange creatures and a boss to fight. An addition called Obsession Confession adds a new chapter to the main storyline. Confessions are full playthroughs and victories. Current ones are Denial and Resentment.
Back in the latest update, we had Altar of Hope system that allows you to collect magical candles, providing bonuses over time. Obsession will also include some new Hero Goals, coming up at starting crossroads. These goals will be providing new candles to get. Any random goal for heroes give you new candles and you are keeping them regardless of how your run ends.
Darkest Dungeon 2 is currently in Early Access on the Epic Games Store, and available for wishlisting on Steam.
