Mentioned the recent leak yesterday, now we are happy to let you know that Death Stranding: Director’s Cut is coming to PC this spring. Announced at Intel’s 2022 CES show, the PC port of the well-received game is coming out of the partnership between parties of Intel, developer Kojima Productions, and publisher 505 Games.

Director’s Cut will release simultaneously on the Epic Games Store and Steam, and the listing is already active. While there is not a precise release date, Intel and 505 Games are bravely assuring that this game will be the “definitive Death Stranding experience” for PC players.

The director’s cut is optimized specifically for Intel’s 12th-generation core processors and will use the new XeSS graphics technology. XeSS is said to support high graphical fidelity settings and provides smoother, more satisfying performance for the Director’s Cut on PC.

Death Stranding: Director’s Cut itself was available on PlayStation since November 8. It had the entire original game, new modes, a new Infiltration mission, and other content on top of all these.

During the CES presentation, Intel mentioned several other games to use their XeSS technology, including the likes of Hitman III, Grit, and Grid Legends. The company has also established partnerships with other developers, including Ubisoft and PUBG Studios, to work more closely on engine development and XeSS technology.

Last but not least, the price tag for Death Stranding: Director’s Cut PC version is unknown but there is an upgrade coming up for players who already owned the original game.
