Guild Wars 2 is celebrating its 10th anniversary in August 2022, and ArenaNet has some great plans about making this important date count for many gamers out there. The decade-old MMORPG is coming to Steam.
On 23rd of August, Guild Wars 2 will be available on Steam and it will be the first time for the title to appear on a third-party platform. Until now, game was only available via ArenaNet’s own launcher. Steam version will also stay free-to-play, and both platforms will use same servers and be able to play together. In case you want to make up for the lost decade full of content, there will be a Complete Edition for $99.97 price tag that includes three expansions and all five seasons.
In addition to Steam launch, ArenaNet is also coming with Twitch Drops. Now the players will be able to earn exclusive outfits, boosters and a special Glowing Purple Mask cosmetic item while watching streamers between August 23-28.
