It has been almost a year of waiting for Hitman fans and finally they got what they wanted – with a controversial price tag. Game actually seems quite nice though, no worries about that at all. The problem in the reviews seems to be the pricing of the game.
Game is currently standing at $60, and this means that there is no discount compared to its previous launch on Epic Games Store that took place a year ago. Especially after the %50 discount on Borderlands 3 Steam launch, people expected a similar decision. Some people also support the idea that a year-old game should not be launched at full price, even if it would be just a temporary discount.
People also express their discontent with the fact that they waited a whole year just to have all games on the same client while Epic had an immense discount that saw the game down at around €23, which was even going down to around €13 with new year gift coupons that worth €10. Indeed a huge difference, that is.
