Splinter Cell: Blacklist, the sixth and last game of the franchise, was released in 2013. Since then, no new game has been produced, and fans of the series have been waiting for a long time.
Last year, Ubisoft announced the return of the franchise, but said it would be a virtual reality game exclusive to Oculus VR. This process did not attract the attention of the fans of the game.
