Just a month ago, Devolver Digital released My Friend Pedro: Ripe For Revenge for iOS and Android. The game is not a port of its PC version though, it was specifically developed mobile devices in order to utilize the touchscreen nicely.
Still though, game keeps its soul without a scratch. The game has 37 intense levels and we still have the means of traveling on foot, motorbike or skateboard. Needless to say, you will be gunning down everyone in sight while traveling. At this point, we can say that the slow-motion mode called “Focus” will be your best friend.
The teaser video gives an accurate idea about the gameplay you can expect. We have many guns in our disposal to do the job, great tricks to maximize destruction and havoc, even the ricocheting mechanic that gave the original game a nice taste. In all levels, the purpose will be chaining tons of combos and kills to get the highest score possible. Three-star rating system is also used here.
Devolver Digital is really doing a great job in developing mobile games to be honest, and My Friend Pedro: Ripe For Revenge is one of the best games they made. It is available on App Store and Google Play Store. Game is free-to-play, but a single in-game purchase for $2.99 unlocks whole game if you want to dive deep and fast.
