Only days after the latest hero of Overwatch 2 was revealed, lead hero designer of the game, Geoff Goodman, has left Blizzard. Kiriko was just hitting the headlines for the news as the 35th hero of Overwatch 2 before we hear about Goodman’s departure.
Overwatch 2 already saw a lot of problems during its development process. Most notable of them was the lawsuits about company’s sexual harassment and discrimination allegations. The company lost a good amount of high-ranking developers and managers as a result of those lawsuits. Now after 35th hero coming out and just when the game is about to be released, lead hero designer decided to leave. It might not be the best news for Overwatch fans, but we will see how it will go.
