PlayStation Studios announced that it has acquired Bluepoint Games, which developed Demon’s Souls Remake. The acquisition of Bluepoint was accidentally revealed to the public in June of this year.
Austin, Texas-based Bluepoint Games was founded in 2006 and currently has approximately 70 employees. The studio’s president, Marco Thrush, said:
“PlayStation has such an iconic gaming catalog and for us, there’s been nothing better than to bring some of gaming’s masterpieces to new players…”
“Becoming a part of PlayStation Studios empowers our team to raise the quality bar even further and create even more impactful experiences for the PlayStation community.”
