One of the near-future releases for Blizzard is World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic. There is not any confirmed information about this expansion, but lately Wowhead noticed an image which was removed very quickly. The image said that “The Lich King Returns September 26, 2022”.
A lot of WoW fans love the earlier expansions much more than the later ones, including Wrath of the Lich King. Considering that this new content will allow players to start playing as a Death Knight from ground zero rather than requiring to level a character up to level 55 first, some players find it exciting.
