Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City’s first images are revealed

When it comes to gaming, Resident Evil is one of the most known and iconic horror franchises. With the new movie title Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, we are getting a new movie adaptation. We know that there are creatures and monsters from the first titles so it will be a good nostalgia for old-fans.

There are only a few months left until the premiere of the movie and filmmakers decided they would share a few screenshot from the movie before November. The screenshots were shared with IGN exclusively and shows us the main characters and details about the movie At the first image, we see Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield. They are portrayed by Avan Jogia and Kaya Scodelario, respectively. 

At the second image, we see Alex Wesker, Brad Vickers, Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield.  The characters are at the lobby of the Spencer Mansion, the primary location that events take place at the first Resident Evil game.

The third and last screenshot shows Lisa Trevor, the child of an architect on the Spencer Mansion who was experimented on by Umbrella.

Johannes Roberts, the director of the film talked to IGN about the film and said: “I wanted to go back to the horror of it all. I wanted scares and atmosphere rather than full-on action.” So it’s likely that we will see a movie that has atmospheric and intense scenes. Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City will be on the white screens on November 24th, 2021, don’t miss it.
