Rocket League Sideswipe recently had a soft launch. After a period of news and teasers, Psyonix launched its mobile game Rocket League Sideswipe for Android and iOS worldwide. Final launch started in Oceania and quickly arrived in other regions.
Rocket League Sideswipe is a great interpretation of Rocket League on mobile platforms with smooth mechanics and gameplay. While the game is 2D instead of 3D, it never means a loss of fun and potential replayability. Touchscreen controls are pretty neat, so it is safe to say that Psyonix did not miss the mark here. A huge difference is that matches last only two minutes, meaning that Rocket League Sideswipe is not a “long haul” type of game.
One of the best parts of Rocket League is obviously the customization variety for cars and the parts. Rocket League Sideswipe is pretty satisfying in that aspect too, and further additions are expected in time. There is also a Rocket Pass to enlarge your collection while you play the game. Last but not least, Competitive Seasons will be there for players who would like to prove their skills.
