Scorn has been a very strong niche product ever since it was announced eight years ago. The extremely creepy and terrifying atmosphere it presents is something unparalelled. Game had some delays, especially while transitioning from episodic structure to a full-length game. Ebb Software finally comes up with a release date for their horror game Scorn and a new official footage from the prologue.
Game will be released on October 21st. A gameplay video is not entirely new as there were some more videos before, but they all are equally disturbing. In the latest video, we are seeing some puzzles which are not extremely hard to solve, but rather letting us enjoy the dark and twisted environment in the game. Combat is not going to take a huge place in the game, but some occasional conflicts are going to be there every once in a while. Other than that, you will be enjoying pure corruption of biology and mechanical engineering.
It is almost certain that when Scorn hits the shelves, it will attract a short but intense audience. The level of design talent is definitely deserving a respect, and will draw the line for many future games.
