Just a few days ago, we have shared with you the news about Stalker 2 release being delayed to an unannounced future time. The reason for this claim was the refunds issued by Microsoft and Xbox to some users. Besides the refunds, pre-order option on the Xbox store was disabled too.
After those news spread, developer studio GSC Game World strictly refused the claims about Stalker 2 release being delayed. As for the reason of refunds and disabled pre-orders, there are not any comments or explanations made yet.
The development process of Stalker 2 by GSC Game World was heavily disrupted due to Russian invasion in Ukraine, and recently some team members were relocated to Prague. With such challenges on all sides, it is understandably difficult to proceed with a huge project like this.
