Due to the Russian invasion in Ukraine, many industries had to halt their operations or minimize the activities. Game development industry in Ukraine also faced a serious impact during the invasion. Stalker 2 is one of those games as the development process had some really rough times.
Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl had a delay before the invasion began, and they closed the Discord server to new chats in March. They announced that the development had to stop until further notice. Just a few days ago, they reactivated their Discord server and it was the most predictable question by fans – will the development continue?
Luckily for the fans, developers from GSC Game World confirmed that the progress is continuing. Some rumors about developers relocating to Prague is also circulating around.
