Warhammer 40000: Darktide is one of the exciting games we have been seeing recently, and its release date is quite close. Full release will be out on 30th of November, and beta test of the game has been underway already.

One of the most tricky matters with beta tests, at least for the games that provide a state of “progress”, is carrying over the beta test progress to the full release. Most games prefer a wipe, putting everyone on the clean state at full release. People who participate in beta tests obviously do not like it that much, as their investment of time and energy feels like wasted.

Warhammer 40000: Darktide prefer to keep the progress there, making its beta test participants happy. They also announced it with a tweet from their official account.

Developer Fatshark also mention that in case the participants did not enjoy the experience in beta, they could refund the game without question as Steam’s refund policy does not apply until full release. Respectable move from Fatshark in terms of supporting their player base.
