Call of Duty: Warzone players are no strangers to the teasers about King Kong and Godzilla coming into the battlefield. Apparently we are about to see King Kong and Godzilla taking the fight to the live servers alongside the new operation that brings plenty of content.
Operation Monarch will be active between May 11th and May 25th, and those two monsters are far from being the only content. During Operation Monarch, Call of Duty: Warzone players will be able to collect Monarch Intel, do challenges, and battle the enormous King Kong and Godzilla alongside other players. Rewards for participating in include Legendary Emblems made for the two monsters, Epic “Ancestral Skull” Charm, and Epic “Skyline Crasher” Calling Card.
Raven Software is working together with Legendary Entertainment, Sledgehammer Games, and Toys for Bob to make sure that Operation Monarch is running smoothly. Interesting point about the story is though, Activision Blizzard has confirmed that Godzilla and King Kong are considered protector Kaiju rather than destroyers. If there are protectors coming in first, it is not very difficult to imagine that there will also be attackers at some point.
