Warzone players want Hunter perk removed

Call of Duty: Warzone was quiet for a while, as we used to see a lot of controversy with the game every now and then. The silence is now broken again, thanks to a perk found in the Cursed Ground.

Cursed Ground is the new form of Fortune’s Keep map. With Season 4, developers brought the change in and added some new content. One new perk called Hunter also came in with those changes, but apparently some people are thinking that it is too powerful to keep in the game.

A recent video from the game shows that one of the players in the game had a very serious advantage with the Hunter perk. Once he got the perk, he became able to see the outlines of enemy players before rushing into a building from the window. It probably requires no explanation about what happened afterwards, as everyone could imagine it when you know the positions of your enemies. Total annihilation.

While the effect might look a bit too strong at first, let’s look at the fair side first. Players have to kill a bunch of Cursed Ground zombies to earn the perk, and it is not permanent. Apparently the group being killed got a bit unlucky with their timing and positioning as their killer recently acquired Hunter perk and had enough time to take advantage of it.

Still though, a legit wallhack as its simplest imaginable explanation, Hunter perk seems a bit too strong indeed. There is always a factor of luck in Battle Royale games, that is pretty much certain, but developers might want to take a look at the balance.
