Motion Twin has announced a crossover called Dead Cells Hollow Knight. With next week’s Dead Cells Update 26, you’ll be able to get Hollow Knight’s sword and much more. However we don’t know what’s more to it yet.
Metroidvania franchise’s game Dead Cells, which sold more than 2 million copies, is a action platformer game and it has been pretty popular lately. With millions of copies sold across the world, it showed that an indie game could achieve a tremendous success.
With its last update, developers added a Training room and new buffs to the game. Hollow Knight is also a part of Metroidvania franchise. With the upcoming crossover, players will be able to get content from franchise’s other titles.
For now the only thing we know is that players will be able to get Hollow Knight’s sword, but we need to wait for the further details. Fortunately, we will not be waiting for so long.
Motion Twin said “Tomorrow we’ll have a seat with the Last but not Least of our friends…,” with the teaser shared on Twitter. The players knew that it meant Hollow Knight’s sword right away.
