The musical artist Ed Sheeran announced on Twitter that an upcoming collaboration is happening with Pokémon Go. Actually, this isn’t that surprising when we consider the celebrities are tied to all kinds of products via these projects and we even saw Naruto in Fortnite.

Pokémon has had a deluge of crossovers and collaborative projects over its long lifetime, and seeing Ed Sheeran make the jump from Game of Thrones (also the other media) over to Pokémon is sure to be interesting. Pokémon is one of the world’s most powerful entertainment brands. And they are expanding well outside the gaming sphere with movies, merch and much much more. The exact nature of this collaboration is unknown at the moment. This partnership is hardly unusual but how will it play out? That’s the question in mind.
