ARK: Survival Evolved is still a solid game overall, and it has its own loyal player base that enjoys tackling the dinosaurs for a living. Game actually attempted a leap into Nintendo Switch before, but it was not really a hit on the mark. This time the studio is prepared for a better shot, and they announced their expected launch of ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition for Nintendo Switch in September.
This new package will include the base game as well as expansion packs, which include Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, and Genesis Parts 1 & 2. Both the base game and the Scorched Earth expansion pack will be available at launch, with the other expansions following suit every two months.
There will be new features like an expanded cinematic story content to improve narrative for players who also enjoy storytelling aspect, support for custom servers when it comes to allowing players to enjoying their own games together, and a new educational mode to provide a warmer welcome for new players as it may be a different world to them.
If you already own ARK: Survival Evolved, you will be happy to hear that you can enjoy those new features too. Your progress and save data will be kept as it is, but there is no word about expansions to be given for free yet.
