Nintendo announced that it will bring the feature that players can listen to the sounds of the games they are looking forward to from their Bluetooth devices. With this feature, which will come with a software update, you will be able to listen to your game sounds and music with wireless headphones.
The coverage area of this support is limited to devices that only output audio for now. In other words, there is no such possibility for Bluetooth microphones. Users will be able to connect only two game controllers to the Switch, while taking advantage of Bluetooth audio support. It will be pairable with only one audio device at a time, but you will be able to register 10 different audio devices to the system.
Switch owners who have made the update will see the Bluetooth Audio option under the Settings menu. Whether the headset is connected to the device will also be shown to users with a new status indicator.
Nintendo Switch owners have been waiting for Bluetooth audio support since day one. Although third-party accessory manufacturers offer various products for this support, Nintendo’s update makes things a lot easier.
