Call of Duty Vanguard brings another double xp weekend

Call of Duty: Vanguard is giving players another double XP weekend, meaning another chance to speed up towards weapon and battle pass progression.

Sledgehammer Games announced it on Twitter, granting players almost 72 hours to grab new weapons and unlocks and cosmetics through the battle pass progression. This is not something we are not used to, as Vanguard has received more of them since launch in early November, with Sledgehammer trying to invite players to enjoy the party even more while Battlefield 2042 and Halo Infinite also makes a run for a better player base.

Reports suggest that Call of Duty: Vanguard is close to be the worst entry in the series while being this far out from release, which could be also interpreted as a fatigue over World War II-theme. Next year’s Call of Duty sequel is allegedly a Modern Warfare reboot once again developed by Infinity Ward.

Activision is still also very busy dealing with the lawsuit regarding misconduct and sexual harassment. He is said to consider stepping down if issues cannot be resolved quickly, while numerous employees have asked for his immediate resignation.
