It’s been 67 days since Vanguard launched and even longer still since developers teased a “new level of ranked play support” would arrive. However, there is a full silence since October.
People have been waiting for Call of Duty: Vanguard’s ranked mode and lately they are quite close to get the great news as the mentions are getting more intense about the mode slowly being ready for launch.
Although no specific date was there, this launch could align with the launch of Season 2 as it is confirmed to be coming. Set to release in early February, the upcoming major update follows the first Call of Duty League event of 2022. This smells like a possible launch date with many things coming together.
Furthermore, the insider who brought out these last statements also implied Vanguard’s system will use the one same as WWII. In that regard, players are very likely to see a familiar system all-around. WWII’s ranked functionality is often referred to as the highest level of quality in the series, so it will at least be a tried-and-tested way to put things into place.
It’s good to take this information with a grain of salt for now though. There is not yet an official word about the plans for Vanguard’s ranked mode.
