Contents for Warzone Pacific Season 2 revealed

As a Valentine’s Day gift for all Call of Duty gamers out there, Raven Software is giving you a large update for Call of Duty: Warzone. Every few months in Call of Duty, we all know that there is new content coming in to look forward to. Season two is surely no different, so here we are excited to share the details with you.

With some quality-of-life updates, bug fixes, weapon balancements and attachment changes, we are seeing some serious new gameplay mechanics for Caldera this season.

Let’s check the list.

Redeploy Balloons

If you played Apex Legends, you are probably familiar with these new balloons placed all around the map. You can use them to climb up to high spots and then redeploy with their parachutes to fly around the map.

Portable Decontamination Station

Another similar one from Apex Legends. This portable decontamination station can be placed where you want and it will filtrate the air in the surrounding area for a short period of time, allowing you to withstand the gas as it encroaches.

Nebula V ammo and bombs

All we see is gas! Now there will be two new ways for us to use this gas in Caldera. First one, the Nebula V bomb can be placed at the point you wish, and it will detonate after a fixed countdown. This bomb cannot be disarmed or destroyed, so beware. The initial blast will deal some damage before spreading the gas where it will hurt anyone without a gas mask.

Nebula V ammo, meanwhile, is a Field Upgrade for players who want to press the advantage. That ammo creates a gas cloud around an enemy that’s been downed by the ammo. In terms of damage, Nebula V ammo does not provide any extra damage in combat. But deploying the gas around your victims means they can’t be revived as easy as it was possible before.

Chemical Factory

Activision described this new location called Chemical Factory with the words “In total, the Factory has six major structures, a small railyard with several stalled boxcars and a terminus within the main building, as well as several minor buildings. The complex is protected by natural rock outcroppings and two main archways on a main road leading through it. Armed Axis guards in watchtowers guard the facility. An Operator can easily get a fair amount of loot, Contracts, and engagement opportunities throughout the complex, especially in the auxiliary structures on the river’s east side.”. This seems like a nice place to bring some variety to the gameplay around the zone.

Research Labs

The Labs are found within yellow circles on the map. While these areas have only one point of entry and there will not be a possibility to escape, they are filled with lots of items like supply boxes and Nebula V gas items. Risk and reward, if we might say so.

Bomber Planes

These new planes are not featuring any gunners to rain down bullets, but instead they can drop some serious payloads to destroy things around like anti-air guns or the new Armored Transport Vehicle. Speaking of which, let’s also share the details for that.

Armored Transport Vehicles

These Armored Vehicles will be moving around Caldera and they will be seen on the tactical map. If players manage to destroy those vehicles, they can enjoy a great amount of loot hidden in them. Just remember that they are armed with autotargeting machine guns and deployable mines, so it won’t be a walk in the park.
