Free Fire versions are removed from mobile stores

According to the latest reports, Garena Free Fire is removed from the App Store and Google Play Store. The game was released back in 2017 for mobile devices and made over $1 billion in 2019, but now it is not in the App Store. In September 2021, a version with better visuals called Free Fire Max was released. However, both versions are now nowhere to be found in mobile application stores.

Currently, there is no explanation from the publisher Garena or Apple or even Google. But there have already been previous speculations regarding the possibility that Free Fire and Free Fire Max are moving towards a ban phase. Nothing is confirmed as of now.

This came as a shock to many players. Understandably, they are more than surprised to see their favorite game suddenly got removed. Also, some players also reported that they are facing problems while accessing the game. Players posted about the problem in the official handles of the game on the social media platforms.

Possibly, this could be either a matter of update or maintenance. It is a usual case and occasionally happens with many games around. Worst possible case could be the lawsuit from Krafton though, and for that we will have to wait for the official statement.
