As all Call of Duty: Warzone fans know, the Ghost perk is very essential for loadouts. Sadly, this particular perk has not been working properly as it should within the battle royale for quite some time now. Thankfully, CoD players realised it and brought this problem to developers. Raven Software has confirmed that a fix is in the works.
“An issue has been identified with the Ghost perk not functioning correctly in Private Matches,” Raven Software wrote on social media. “We have a fix in the works!”
Call of Duty: Warzone’s Ghost perk is meant to keep players off enemy radars. This means that once UAVs are called in, they will not detect the players who have the perk equipped. But as perk not working as intended, players point out that it is broken and has ultimately failed to shroud them from UAVs on occasion.
Just a few months back, Call of Duty: Warzone players saw that glitch bringing an unfair conclusion to a tournament. The perk did not work for them even though it was equipped, their position showed up on the enemy team’s UAV. Now that Raven Software has confirmed that a fix is underway, Call of Duty: Warzone players can be a bit less wary of UAVs pretty soon.
Despite the announcement from the developers, there was no confirmation on when the fix is going to be live. However, Call of Duty: Warzone fans are hopeful that it is going to arrive sooner rather than later, especially since it has already been tagged as “scheduled” on the Raven Software’s Trello page.
Raven Software confirmed that the Ghost perk fix will be applied to both private and public matches. This way, players who hop into regular online matches will also be safe from the issue, and not only those who participate in Call of Duty: Warzone tournaments.
