Gran Turismo 7’s single-player campaign requires internet

It has been revealed in a recent PlayStation Blog post that you’ll need an internet connection to play Gran Turismo 7’s single-player campaign. Not only campaign mode but you need to be connected to PlayStation Network also for playing Livery Editor, Scapes photo mode, GT Café and GT Auto.

The head of Gran Turismo 7, Kazunori Yamauchi told that fans can expect to have a “full” experience just like the older games of the series. The seventh and the newest game will be coming out on March 4th 2022 as Sony has confirmed.

Yamauchi used these expressions when he was talking about GT7: “GT7 is both the culmination of the series which answers the expectations of GT fans throughout the years, and at the same time it is a title that marks a beginning of a difficult mission to contain the full breadth of car culture from the past into a single video game.”

The game is expected to be released next year, but Sony will surely share other details with upcoming PlayStation blog posts. We’ll make sure to let you know about these details.
