Microsoft may bring game demos for Xbox Game Pass

Late rumors are mentioning a very critical feature for Microsoft’s gaming subscription service. According to these recent rumors, Microsoft might bring Xbox game demos for Xbox Game Pass. Those demos used to come with the promotional CDs back in the day, mostly with the gaming magazines. After Steam became prevalent and people were able to try the games they want without much hassle, demos also slowly vanished.

This might change though, and the first move came from Sony as they announced the game trials feature for their own subscription service. After this move, it would not be a huge surprise to see that Microsoft does the same. According to Exputer, Microsoft is going to announce this feature and much more in the Summer Game Fest soon. While Exputer did not reveal its source, the incoming information is definitely not limited to game demos.

On other notes, Microsoft is expected to launch this feature next year and support especially small indie game companies with some extra benefits. According to the leaks, announcements will come just before Summer Game Fest begins. We will have to wait for just some more hours from now.
