PlayStation Plus subscribers are usually enjoying some free games every month, but April 2022 had some struggles due to the lineup of free games. It went so far that some players actually mentioned threats about cancelling their subscriptions due to lack of high quality games given free. While this is open for discussion on multiple ways, today’s news are about the freebie of May.
According to the news, PlayStation Plus subscribers are going to get a Call of Duty freebie in May. There will be a new Combat Pack for the subscribers on May 4th, and this will also coincide with the Season 3 Combat Pack.
Description of this special Combat Pack says “The Odyssey Combat Pack includes the Legendary Bushwacker Operator Skin for Padmavati Balan, the Legendary Heavy Foliage and Gold Hawk Weapon Blueprints, an Epic Watch, Charm, Emblem, Calling Card, and a 60-minute Double XP Token.” Not bad at all.
With Activision now being acquired by Microsoft though, this nice era for PlayStation players who love Call of Duty is probably coming to an end. Those gifts are probably the last instances of the cooperation between Activision and Sony.
