Shutdown rumors are coming for Roller Champions

Ubisoft revealed Roller Champions for the first time back in 2019. After 3 years, they finally launched the game. Roller Champions is free-to-play and still better than their previous free-to-play Battle Royale title Hyper Scape.

But there are some shutdown claims surfacing about Roller Champions as Jeff Grubb spoke to the Xbox Era podcast. He claims that the game will be concluding development, just months after the launch.

Game does not look very popular and this is the first reason coming to everyone’s mind. Not many people play the game, even less people watch it on Twitch.

In a recent earnings call, Ubisoft also confirmed that they cancelled Ghost Recon Frontline, Splinter Cell VR and two other unannounced games. Hopefully this move is just a temporary step to come back stronger.
