Amazon responded to the concerns about Lost Ark pay-to-win raid

Recently developers of Lost Ark have admitted to mistakenly add too much materials in the previous patch, and this made the impact of bots only worse. Players are usually having a very hard time to proceed in the game.

As much as the developers are trying to calm players down with skins and classes to come, it is not sure that players will be accepting it as an appropriate apology. What is sure though, is that we will be seeing a lot of attempts from developers to make things right again for weeks to come.

Argos Abyss Raid was a failure in terms of balance and T3 materials were not abundant enough in the game, causing players to grind T1 and T2 content to have a chance at it. This also made players have a perception of “pay-to-win” type of raid for Argos Abyss, and also a serious problem of bots arised. Lately though, Lost Ark announced that they banned over 1 million bot accounts so at least there are some measures being taken against this problem.

Another attempt to tackle the problem about T3 materials is also increasing the rate for finding them. This is also in the to-do list for developers. As much as problems are serious, so is the transparency and honesty of developers and players are appreciating it.
