A recent marketing video published by Sony on Monday, showing some Final Fantasy 16 footage. While the video looks nice, a disclaimer caught the attention of viewers. The disclaimer mentioned that Final Fantasy 16 will be a PlayStation 5 exclusive for six months after release.
The game was previously announced for PlayStation 5 only. This information simply tells us that PC release for Final Fantasy 16 might arrive in 2024. The first reveal trailer back in 2020 actually mention a PC version, but this information was nowhere to be found in later versions so people considered it like a cancellation.
There were another Final Fantasy games that came out as PlayStation exclusives, making their way into PC platform at later months. An example to this is Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Final Fantasy 16 is said to be near-complete, so upcoming months will probably bring much more news about the game.
