Recently a bug caused Apex Legends players to receive platform-exclusive items which are eventually removed. Respawn Entertainment is now rolling out a compensation for players who were affected by this issue.
Players were not supposed to gain platform-exclusive items from Apex Packs, but it somehow happened. Of course, first step was to remove those items from the inventories but it also meant that some players were losing their genuine rewards. Therefore Respawn Entertainment was quick to act for a compensation, announcing that players are going to get “1 Apex Pack per 3 items removed”.
With that issue resolved, there is also a new event for Season 10. It is called “Apex Legends Apex Chronicles”. This event is focusing on in-game narrative with an interesting plot. Players must select Bloodhound, join a non-ranked Battle Royale game, and look for a white raven (seen above) to trigger the multi-part event. The first of these events is “Old Ways, New Dawn”.
Then, players is required to traverse the map to complete multiple objectives. The weird part is doing this in the middle of a Battle Royale match. Good news is, each Bloodhound on the map is intentionally assigned a different path to minimize crossovers due to the event objective. In case a player fails to complete the event objectives in a single match, next one will have an appropriate checkpoint to also cover the player for the limited time problems. Let’s hope that the server issues won’t get in the way.
Event is live now, so feel free to enjoy the extra content provided.
