Just a couple days ago, we have brought you the news about the recent input lag issues in Apex Legends which impacted the gameplay experience on Xbox Series X/S. A lot of players expressed their discontent due to this issue as they were unable to enjoy the game. Respawn Entertainment already acknowledged the problem and confirmed that they are working on a fix, but this seems to be far from relieving the anger of some fans.
Some players are seen to boycott the game, and now they are raising their voices in much louder fashion, calling players to join the movement called “No Apex August”.
Considering the serious impact on the game especially in Ranked mode, it is no surprise that some players will be more aggressive than the rest. But there is also some controversy among the players regarding the boycotting movement. Some players say that it should be “No Apex Store August” rather than entirely leaving the game for a month, as they claim that loss of money would be a harder impact for Respawn Entertainment. Time will tell if Respawn Entertainment will be able to handle this challenge and save the game from being abandoned by many players.
