Apple Arcade will remove 15 games soon

Apple Arcade is Apple’s $5/mo priced subscription service for games. The service is about to say goodbye to 15 games in near future. Users can see a new section at the bottom of the Arcade tab, which says “Leaving Arcade Soon”, listing the games which are about to be removed from the service.

Currently there is no strict date given about the games that are listed for removal, and this is not the first time a game leaves the service either. But this is surely the first time that the games to be removed are listed beforehand.

  • Atone: Heart of the Elder Tree
  • BattleSky Brigade: Harpooner
  • Cardpocalypse
  • Dead End Job
  • Don’t Bug Me!
  • Dread Nautical
  • EarthNight
  • Explottens
  • Lifeslide
  • Over the Alps
  • Projection: First Light
  • Spelldrifter
  • Spidersaurs
  • Towaga: Among Shadows
  • Various Daylife

Aside from removals, Apple Arcade is indeed a service that is worth its price. For just $5 per month, you can play more than 200 games without ads or in-app purchases. Game list is quite strong, but announced removals may be a sign that this might not be the only time we see a game leaving the service.
