Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night from 505 Games and Artplay recently got a free update. Best part of that update was the crossover with Child of Light from Ubisoft. The side-scrolling RPG is actually familiar with crossovers as this is not the first one.
Players will be able to choose Aurora from the menu and play a whole new storyline, use new skills, see new lands and enjoy a content-rich experience. Her loyal friend Igniculus will also be your company in this journey, and help you with various advantages like heals, buffs and debuffs. You will be able to earn experience to further increase your power and efficiency.
Aurora will not be able to use her Shardbinder abilities though. Instead, she can use shards to improve her own skills and access Familiar (passive) and Conjure (active) shards which represent her lost friends.
The latest update for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is available now on PC, Xbox One and Playstation consoles and Stadia. Nintendo Switch version is also on its way, and should arrive soon.
