Call of Duty: Vanguard is still a thrilling title for the fans. Fortunately for those who wanted a competitive system, we have good news today.
Treyarch Studios announced the news on social media and said “We are collaborating with our partners to bring competitive modes, Ranked Skill Divisions, visible Skill Ratings, and new competitive rewards to Vanguard Ranked Play in 2022, more details to come!”
Since the reveal, Call of Duty: Vanguard fans were quite excited about the game getting a Ranked mode. This latest news is expected to hype up the storm surrounding the franchise’s skill-based matchmaking.
Many Call of Duty fans consider it a good balance to include SBMM in Ranked matches, but not in Public ones. Devs also support this concept, so it is unlikely for us to see a different system being implemented here.
League Play was one of the the most beloved features in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Since the feature is still in the works for Call of Duty: Vanguard, we are yet to see further details and how they play out. After all, Activision has revealed that it will be a “new level” of competitive play.
