Fortnite is apparently far from being finished with having crossovers with different projects, and right after the Dragon Ball crossover we are getting another one. This time, our guests are Destiny 2 skins by Bungie. But there is a difference as Destiny 2 is the one adding the content into the game instead of Fortnite.
During the weekend, a leaker teased some potential Destiny 2 and Fortnite crossover content. After the leak, another Destiny dataminer also came forward to confirm the leaks with some images. They looked quite similar to the Fortnite skins we had back in Season 2, but there is not much clarified yet.
There are some possibilities like they may be some character skins or some sort of ornaments to apply on any armor in order to customize a character. Some rumors say that Fortnite might also get its own Destiny Skins, as Bungie has many characters which seem fit for Fortnite’s world.
Bungie and Destiny 2 are not strangers to crossover projects either as they previously added some guns that look like the ones in Halo during the 30th Anniversary of Bungie. Considering that there is little time left before the reveal of Season 18, it does not sound strange that Bungie might want to have a surprise for the fans.
