Dota made its way into Netflix with its animated series called Dragon’s Blood. While it could not surpass its equivalents like Castlevania and Arcane, fans of Dota liked it pretty much for the stories told. The show will receive its third season in August, and it may be the last one.
The rumors about third season being possibly the last are actually stemming from the conclusion of previous season. Also, writer and creator for Dragon’s Blood, Ashley Miller, said earlier that “I would love for it to go four seasons, but I think for what’s in my head, three would be the sweet spot.” during an interview with DreamHack.
