Escape From Tarkov spin-off “Arena” will be a new standalone game

Battlestate Games is known for their FPS game Escape From Tarkov where they push the limits of realism. The game is themed around the city Tarkov where PMCs and scavengers are trying to survive in an unforgiving environment. Lately there are some exciting news about the game, one of them being the new standalone title called Arena.

Arena will be much more different than the original game in terms of objectives. In Escape From Tarkov, it was centered around looting and extraction rather than just killing others. In Arena, players will be joining a gladiatorial combat party to simply fight and survive. There will be both PvP and PvE format in this new title, and progression system to unlock further gear. Even better, owners of original Escape From Tarkov will have the option to play with their main characters.

If you have Edge of Darkness edition for the game, Battlestate Games already promised direct and free access to all DLCs. This will also count, so good news for those who own the biggest edition. For owners of other editions, Arena will be a paid game.

Closed beta tests for Arena is expected to start during Fall.
