Fortnite is known for many things, but one of them is definitely the building mechanics that changed the way the game is played as a Battle Royale. We all have seen many videos so far about the players who are literally instantly building a tower when they engage with an opponent to defend themselves, and many players also disliked the game for this nearly unlimited potential of construction.
Now there is a temporary change for that, as Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 brings a no-build mode for players. At this point, players are not able to build anything and only fight to death. This is a huge game changer for many players, as people less skilled will be enjoying a more balanced fighting ground while people who take pride in their swift building abilities will miss their well-deserved advantage. Reason for this change is explained in the latest trailer shared up to some extent.
In the trailer, we are presented with a bad guy called Doctor Slone of the Imagined Order, using a device to dematerialize all buildings. On the other hand, we are seeing Doctor Strange and Iron Man appering alongside many other characters. As strange as Fortnite can get, I guess.
Building is disabled only in the default mode while players will still be able to build in competitive and arena playlists as well as in team rumble, creative islands, and Save the World.
