Private Division and Bloober Team announced that they are working on a new survival horror IP coming from Bloober Team. The game is not planned for a quick release though, and expectations are expanding towards past 2025.
Bloober Team is a Polish studio which has quite an experience in terms of horror games. They have made Layers of Fear, Observer, Blair Witch, The Medium and upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake. According to the CEO Piotr Babieno, they expect this project to carry them to the top spots in terms of horror games.
On the other hand, Private Division is marking its fifth anniversary with this announcement. They have created the Private Division Development Fund in order to support some smaller scale games where the concept looks promising. They believe that a game with a small scale does not have to be necessarily incapable of success, so they are working on finding and supporting these projects.
Silent Hill 2 remake does not have a release date, but Bloober Team said that they are doing their best to give people a great experience.
