Starfield is coming to become the next Bethesda hit, but latest reveal was a bit “dull”, to say the least. The studio has been quiet for a while now, and we have another news again about the development process.
According to Todd Howard, Starfield will have over 250000 lines of dialogue. This is more than four times the amount of Skyrim had, if you want to compare. Game will use classic Bethesda-style dialogue system, where you see a character and their reactions, deciding your next step.
Persuasion system will be point-based. In Starfield, we will spend persuasion points to persuade characters we interact with. There will be a few dialogue options, and each one will cost various amounts of points. The choice that costs 1 point will be passive while the one costing 5 points will be very aggressive.
Starfield is planned for release in the first half of 2023.
