Microsoft and other companies with game streaming services have found a way to bring game streaming in the cloud to iOS devices to a better level without having to scrambling within Apple’s hoops and meet all the tough requirements that the Cupertino company had set out thanks to a Safari workaround.
As much as the experience wasn’t as good as it could have been, since it was not an “official” method, there is still some good news. Microsoft has announced that they have made some changes that should result in an improvement in the streaming experience. If you are an Xbox gamer with an iOS device to stream, it should be an improvement for you.
Company said that “At Xbox Cloud Gaming, we listen to and value player feedback. You asked for a better iOS experience, and as a result, we have brought major performance improvements to all supported iPhone and iPad devices. With these updates, you should have a smoother and more responsive gameplay experience.”
After these improvements, Microsoft states that they’ve actually seen more positive feedback from gamers resulting in 35% longer playtime.
