Doom mods are a whole another world of interesting and amazing content, and they will probably be there as long as gaming is alive. This time though, a modder brought Doom and Devil May Cry together to create something outstanding.
Doom 2: The False Angel is a mod where we get to play as a character called Victoria Noire, and we have some parkour skills alongside our brutally effective weapons. Gameplay tempo is really high, the general feeling is satisfying but one thing is definitely catching attention. Even with a strong computer, you may not be able to run this Doom 2 mod without some problems in the frame rate.
The special effects are so intense that while you will be surely impressed with all aspects of it, your computer may not always agree with you when you are blowing up dozens of enemies at the same time. All the lights, gore, particles and much more will take their toll on your FPS count. Still, Doom 2: The False Angel is a stunning piece of work for a mod that is made for a game which is almost three decades old.
