In its tweet and blog post, Sony announced that they have added two more games to the PlayStation Open Series Tournament in order to expand the competition in the FPS genre. Apex Legends competitions will begin on September 1, while Rainbow Six Siege will begin on September 2.
Special lobbies will be set up in Apex Legends and standard battle royale matches will be played. The ranked players with the most kills will advance to the monthly finals and compete for the cash prize. In Rainbow Six Siege, there will be 5v5 TDM Bomb matches, and players who rank high in this game will be able to receive various prizes, including cash.
Thanks to the PlayStation Open Series Tournament, players have the opportunity to compete with other players without having to be professional esports players. In this tournament, players can participate in low-stakes competitions and win various prizes. Participating in the tournament is very simple. The only requirement is to be a PlayStation Plus subscriber and pre-register for the tournament.
Also, other games in Sony’s PlayStation Open Series Tournament include Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, FIFA 21 and NBA 2K21.
