Ubisoft will run an Assassin’s Creed celebration stream

With a lot of video game events like Summer Game Fest and Steam Next Week going on, gamers are having the best month of the year again. As if there are not more than enough events to catch, now we also have another one by Ubisoft. This one is the Assassin’s Creed Celebration Stream, and it will be live on 14th of June.

The date does not represent anything special on its own, but we may see some new projects announced. One of the guesses is a small scale spin-off starring Valhalla character Basim Ibn Isha, which leaked earlier this year. Expectations for this game are around a late 2022 or early 2023 release.

Another critical name in the series is the Assassin’s Creed Infinity, which is a live-service project for the franchise. This one is a very interesting attempt for Ubisoft to drop another big name in live-service scene, but there is not a release date yet and we are not expecting to see it anytime soon unless there is a big surprise.

In any other year, we would have seen a lot of Ubisoft news until the first half of the year ends. 2022 has been unusually quiet for the company but they promised to bring some specials later this year, so it may be that they are taking their time to prepare the bombs.

The Assassin’s Creed Celebration Stream will begin at 9am PST / 11am CEST / 3pm GMT on June 14, and at 2am AEST on June 15. It’ll take place on Ubisoft’s YouTube and Twitch channels.
