Might and Magic in World of Warships

Heroes of Might and Magic III is making an exciting appearance just in time for the most mystical month of the year! Six new Commanders from the iconic turn-based strategy game are arriving on October 19 to assert their uniquely magical form of naval dominance over the high seas. Each Commander comes with their own unique voiceover, with original voice actors from the much-loved game reprising their roles for Catherine Ironfist of the Castle and Sandro of the Necropolis. These high-fantasy Commanders all come with 10 skill points, making them ready to lead any armada to victory. Players can travel on a bountiful journey on a special map directly inspired by Heroes of Might and Magic III in the Armory. As they travel through this mystical realm, they will unlock the Commanders and various resources such as Credits, XP, days of Premium Account, and economic bonuses.

World of Warships is also introducing a special DLC bundle that will be on sale with a 50% discount on Steam. It includes iconic Commander Sandro; days of Premium Account; and plenty of in-game bonuses, rewards, and Credits. The bundle doesn’t just include World of Warships DLC, though, as players will also receive a copy of Heroes of Might and Magic III HD Edition!

Three New Japanese Battleships

Having dropped anchor in the newly updated Kure Port, Tier VIII Yumihari, Tier IX Adatara, and Tier X Bungo are all set to sail in Early Access. Purchasable with Japanese Tokens, a new temporary resource, these ships feature the signature long firing range and great accuracy of Japanese ships. In addition to their large-caliber main battery guns, they also offer a choice between the Fighter or Spotting Aircraft consumables to compensate for their smaller Hit Point pools. To celebrate these additions to the game, a themed collection has been added, rewarding those who complete the 60-piece collection with a Mount Fuji Sunrise permanent camouflage for Yumihari.

Hair-Raising Halloween Operations

This update also introduces a hefty injection of creepy content just in time for Halloween! Alongside the addition of Jack-o’-Lantern Premium and regular containers, a special spooky Operation is about to disturb the waters of the game. The dramatic final chapter in the long-running battle against Rasputin’s horde from another world will unfold across regional servers from October 25 through November. Players are tasked with escorting and defending Transylvania on her perilous journey to locate and destroy the Portal through which evil is penetrating the world and prevent the forces of darkness from spreading any further. As this is the world-shaking final battle in the long, hard fight against Rasputin, ships of all types spanning Tiers VIII–IX can participate in this year’s Halloween Operation to give players a fighting chance. Special modifiers will also be applied as a bonus to balance performance.

Starting November 3, players will be able to find additional containers for Black Friday 2023 in the Armory, and four new ships are being added to the game. These include the highly requested American destroyer Black B and three other battleships and cruisers from the Japanese, German, and Soviet navies.
